Extra Certifications

  • Other suggested safety precautions

In the U.S. we have an official government agency assembled to enforce all work safety, this Government agency is the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, better known as OSHA. If you weren’t familiar with OSHA, I’m positive you are now with COVID!!

Students who go through our training courses should seek out some additional safety precaution courses such as a bloodborne pathogen training course as an extra precaution to protect yourself and your clients under OSHA. These training sessions can provide you with additional information to most importantly protect you from health hazards such as Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, Malaria, Brucellosis, Syphilis, West Nile, Virus, and Coronavirus just to name a few.

I do also recommend that my students consider being certified in Infection Control and Prevention, since one of the most common occupations for infections just so happen to be in the healthcare system and in aesthetics fields. It is important to keep yourself and your clients safe from contamination and infections, as well as reduce their ability to spread, and that goes for you!

Although this is a needleless procedure, you will still puncture the skin and you will need to ensure the safety of yourself and your clients from infections and spreading them.

We recommend you finding an accredited online course, incase you don't know where to start below are some courses we recommend you becoming certified in:

- Bloodborne Pathogen or BBP certification

-Infection Control and Prevention certification

Any occupation or line of work where you can possibly have blood exposure, you need to take every precaution available to keep everyone safe!
